At Last!

I was hoping to post this last week, but Ashley and I went to help out some friends, so that took up two days of my week. And the rest was filled with fininshing up the next issue of DBD.

So here are some pictures that were from our trip that I haven't posted yet.

Moving in.

The drive up from Sacorrow to Datil is very beautiful.

The drive across NM the day before.

The "texes long horn train."

The picture below is traveling across Texas. Its not been that hot here. Most of the time it has been in the 70's in the day and 50's at night. I'd call that just right!

Welcome to New Mexico!

The travelers!

If you all come out to visit us bring a book for while you're traveling because texas is long a boring.

Our favorite
rest stop in Texas. (Its the only one!)

The matching trailers.

The Girls

The children

Easterners going west. (that dosen't make us westerners!)

We took a walk down our road shortly after we moved in. We discovered that the Lord has blessed us with a very beautiful place to live. Here are some of our findings.
These bugs are harmless, but uggly and aboundant around here.

The red fire ants build exstravagantly here. This is one of the many 1/2 to 1 foot tall ant dynasties.

The Princess in her garden!
I should add Princesses.

Contact Info.

I'm sorry it has taken so long to let you all know our address and phone, but the phone co. has given us a lot of trouble in trying to get a phone here. And Friday I was fully intending to post our info. but I forgot.

So here it is.

Address:
P. O. Box 188
Datil, NM 87821

Phone:
575-772-5238

Our cell phone doesn't work here, but we has DSL so our line is not tied up. And we have a good long distance calling plan here to. Since everything here is long distance.

We're Here!

We have finely arrived at our home in the mountains of New Mexico. What a journey! The Lord has blessed us beyond what we could have every imagined. A couple of evenings ago we all took a walk down our gravel road. We discovered that there is a recreational area that is right next to our property. It has a cap ground, walking trails, picnic tables, and several overlooks.

I was reading over the stuff I've posted and I realized that there are some of you that I didn't tell that we were moving and ware we were moving to. I'm sorry for this mistake.

We have just arrived at our Beautiful rental home a half mile out of Datil, New Mexico on hwy 12. The ranchers that we are renting from are very sweet people. They have even invited us to there cowboy church in there barn next Sunday. The neighbors that live across the road from us have a green parrot. He, (the parrot), told mother that "he likes girls.".

There are so many more things to tell but I need to get back to work.

God bless!

P.S. I'll be posting more pictures of our travel and of here soon.
