A Day To Remember!

Today many are remembering the lives of men and women who have given their lives to serve our country. We often think of those only in uniform, and forget all those that have served and given their lives without a uniform. One of these was none other then a yellow lab named Sirius. He was a bomb detection dog that worked in the World Trade Center tower two with his partner Officer David Lim. He and Officer Lim were in the tower when it fell on September 11, 2001. Officer Lim was found, but his dog had been killed. Many say, "but he was just one dog compared to the 2,976 people that lost their lives that same day." Yes he was just a dog, but he was willing to put his life on the line every day for his friend (Officer Lim) and our country. Even though he may not of realized it he gave his life for our country, and we should be grateful.

On that same day 300 dogs came to the sight to find those that might still be alive buried under all that rubbish. They gave comfort to thousands.

A SAR Golden Retriever named Riley

We should be grateful today to those who are still alive serving our country in many ways. Yes and to the thousands of dogs across the country who work along side us saving many lives. Giving many another chance to choose to serve our Heavenly Father.

Sisters Forever!

Looking back over 7 years I can see us girls learning and growing together as sisters. We can share things with each other that no one out there can understand. We love being together as sisters. Here are some pictures of us together.

And us 4 girls with our dear parents make up our very special family of 6!

We're Moving.

Monday is the day we start moving. We are going to be renting a house that is just over the hill in our back yard. It's not as nice a home as the one we're currently in, but we are so thankful to our Heavenly Father for helping us to get a home. I'll post pictures as soon as I get over there with my camera. I've been staling about climbing the hill behind the house because rattle snakes are suppose to be worse in the spring.

Even though we're only moving over the hill it will take us at lest a week to get everything over there. WDC (Well Done Crafts) is the most complicated to move. But with each one of us as a family working together a some help from a few friends we'll get it all done.

We want to thank each and every one of you who has been praying for us. God has been richly blessing our family.

The Furminator

Over the past few months the Brinley zoo has been blessed with a new device that helps control the pet hair problem. It's called a Furminator. I have been very pleased with the results. The only defect I see with it is that you can't just brush the animal once and be done forever. You might understand if you some of the pictures below.

If you still don't understand let me paint a picture for you in words. Imagen giving a cat a bath - real scrub down. Imagen the attitude of the cat. That is what our cat thinks of being brushed.

Jacky, our dog, loves being brushed. He would sit for hours and be brushed. That is why it only takes one of us to brush him and two or more to brush the cat.

So I encourage all you pet lovers to invest in one if you haven't already.
