Surprise Birthday Party!

Emily's birthday was very Emily as you can imagine. Green was the color of just about everything. 

Here are some pictures I took of her. I'm not sure if she wanted them posted or not, but here they are.

The ladies here at our church decided to throw a surprise birthday party for her. It was quite a trick to keep her from finding out about it before hand. But afterwards she said she never guessed. so we must have done a good job.

The next day we drove up to Corolla which is the last town on the Outer banks island going north before you reach Virginia.

So I think Emily had a very Happy 17th birthday.

And it is ...

Ok, it was Emily. Now for the next part. How old is she? This might be a little harder. Here's a clue. I just past the two decade mark, and Emily and I are about one year closer together then Lacey and Ashley. If you don't know how far apart they are, well they're four years. So that might help you out.

I'll post pictures of Emily's suprize birthday party tomorrow. Right now I must fly off to the second part of little miss E's birthday celebraion.
