April Travels # 1

Here is a few pictures I took well on the first part of our trip to Oklahoma. Emily has wanted to go to a dinosaur museum for a long time. So we found on near the New Mexico/Texas boarder that we could stop at. It was very interesting.
The two that went because that had to, not because they wanted to. Although I think they enjoyed it more then the two of them admitted it.

This trip is turning out to be more then I thought. We found out yesterday that we'll be speaking out the vespers program Friday. Pray fromthe Lords blessing on the young people there.

More updates to follow soom!

Spring Is Here!

Spring has come to the Datil Mountain. And with it wind as no one but a "local" has every seem. But even with the wind it is beautiful out. Then tempters have been in the 60s and 70s and sunny every day. In fact I don't remember a cloudy day since December.

How do you all like the new look to the blog? I had to make it more "springy". It fits better with the season of the moment.

Everyday Happenings

Our "baby Moses" loves his new cardboard boat. He also loves being in Daddy's office, and being one of his "office hands."

Ashley, Emily, and I have been working very hard getting ready for our first recital. I have never played a violin solo before so this is a little different for me. But I'm not really nervous about it. I post photos/videos, (whatever I can find), as soon as the event is over.

I'll be playing a Dvořák piece called Humoresque. Ashley is playing He is Exalted arranged by Dick Tunney on her violin. And Emily is singing Come by Bubby Houghtaling. She has been so nervous over whole thing. I can't really understand why. She has performed vocal solos before. But thats very Emily!

Well I'll be posting again soon. Have a happy Thursday!

Oh, our recital is going to be on March 20th. I wish you all could be there!!
