Thankfulness.

Thanksgiving Day! It's all the word says, - a day for thanks. And I have so much to be thankful for this year. I guess that I started thinking about it when I cleaned out my closet. (That's another story.) I was sitting down to admire my now (and still!!), clean and organized closet, and began thinking on how many things I had to be grateful for. 

Here is some of the things I thought of

1. First off, I am so thankful to have finely figured out a way to organize my closet is it was completely functional and supper easy to keep clean. I've been working on that probably for almost ten years, and I finely came up with with a system that I LOVE!
2. I'm thankful for holidays and holiday traditions. I feel so into the holiday celebrating spirit this year. I so look forward to Christmas this year. I hope it turns out as well as thanksgiving.
3. I am so thankful for my family. My parents are by fare the best parents in the world, and care so much for each one of use even though they are so busy. And my sisters are the best sisters and siblings a kid could ask for. As I look around I see so many unhappy families and so much sadness in them. How much I have in a happy and unified family.
4. I'm thankful for my dear friend Jacky, (my dog). My parents, (mostly my father) have put up with my little rascal and sometimes my failed attempts at turning a savage into a saint. I can't thank them enough for trusting my with the care of this dear pet. Also for letting my long last childish dream come true, and let a beautiful friendship grow between Jacky and me.
5. I am thankful for all the little things GOd has blessed me with this year. Desires of my heart that at times seemed in no way able to come true. But my loving Heavenly Father gives even unnecessary gifts to us. He is so good!
6. I am so thankful for the beautiful place God has given us. I didn't think I'd like living in place that's so worm in the winter, but I love it!
7. I'm so thankful for the dear little church we have to work in. There is so many dear people. We love every one of you.
8. I'm thankful for blogs. This past year I've found many new friends through blogs. I've found several girls like me striving to be godly women and to follow God's "real" plan for the women of christian families today.
9. I am thankful for the walks I take with my sister Ashley every day. We have so many good talks and discussions.

There are many more things to be thankful for, but as it it growing late I will now give a glimpse into our wonderful thanksgiving.

Our table was loaded with all the traditional feastings. 

At the last minute we ended up with the Hickeys over for dinner. It was lots of fun.

What a wonderful day.
